Hello and welcome! My name is Adrieana Mitchell, and I am the owner and provider of Brilliant Start Home Daycare.

Since 2011, I have had the privilege of caring for and educating young children in a nurturing home environment where they can learn, play, and grow. With over 20 years of experience working with children, I am passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences that support each child’s unique development.

Brilliant Start Home Daycare was inspired by my daughter, Maleah, and my desire to provide children with the same loving, supportive environment I wanted for my own family. What began as a passion for nurturing young children has grown into a trusted program serving families throughout the Humble community.

As a Texas Rising Star 4-Star provider, I am committed to providing high-quality care that goes beyond basic childcare. I believe in quality over quantity, which allows me to build strong relationships with children and families while providing the individualized attention every child deserves.

My goal is simple: to create a safe, welcoming place where children feel loved, families feel supported, and learning happens naturally through play, exploration, and meaningful connections.

Miss Maleah

Student Assistant

Hello! My name is Maleah, and I am a high school senior and Student Assistant at Brilliant Start Home Daycare.

I have grown up in the home daycare environment and have been surrounded by children for most of my life. In fact, I am the inspiration behind Brilliant Start Home Daycare. My mom opened the daycare when I was young, and it has been a special part of our family’s journey ever since.

I have always had a love for babies and young children. I enjoy helping with daily activities, reading stories, playing games, and creating a fun, welcoming environment where children feel safe, happy, and cared for. Building relationships with the children and watching them learn new things is one of my favorite parts of being involved at Brilliant Start.

I am also very creative and artistic. I enjoy drawing, crafting, and exploring different forms of art, and I love sharing that creativity with children through hands-on activities and imaginative play.

I am currently enrolled in Child Development courses and plan to continue my education after graduation with a focus on the field of education. My goal is to make a positive impact in the lives of children and help them learn, grow, and reach their full potential.
